Quite a few posts ago I featured my white Zara skort – one of my favourite summer purchases. Since then I have found it very versatile and worn it a number of times, so was thinking of buying black one for the winter months. As I am now back at uni, I’m a little more careful with my money so decided to look for a cheaper version. Recently, whilst on an Ebay search I came across a seller who sold skorts that looked very similar to my Zara one for a fraction of the price. At just £3.98 I couldn’t resist!
I was a little wary at first. The price seemed too good to be true which made me doubt how high quality the fabric would be. It was also coming from Hong Kong, so would take a while which made me nervous as to whether it would actually arrive or not. The estimated delivery time was three weeks, however after just one week I received a nice little parcel through my letter box. Upon a close inspection I actually think it’s one of the best bargains I’ve ever found! The fabric is thinner and not as good as my white Zara skort, but for less than a quarter of the price it exceeds expectations.
Recently I decided to wear it with a simple black cami and a statement necklace for a night out. I am much more a fan of simple outfit’s so feel this worked well together. You can never go wrong with black!
I would definitely recommended buying one. It also comes in white, blue and orange so I may buy another. The only thing I would say is that the sizing is a little smaller. The seller uses Asian sizing, so I would take that into account when you’re ordering. Both my Zara skort and Ebay skort are size small and I do notice the difference. The Ebay once is a little shorter and a little tighter but still fit’s perfectly and over all I am a very happy customer!
